Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

This is a second effort in joining my abstract style with my landscape work. This is a painting of a place to which you have never gone.

Gary Coleman's art career had a long gestation period, its academic inception going back to grade school where his preoccupation with drawing contributed to his earning a second try at first grade. He would not feel comfortable calling himself an artist until many years later, after his retirement from thirty years of teaching high school English and history. Gary minored in art and majored in English at San Jose State University, with the intention of becoming a suffering writer. Upon earning his BA, he entered a field with, he would soon discover, far more potential for suffering. He started teaching. He admits that his first year was a disaster. Maybe I've never gone there, but you've definitely creating a feeling of a place. How neat. I don't see exactly the blend of your 2 styles, landscape and abstract very much, BUT I see how you have created this very plausable and light, sunny, picture mostly with beige or orange colored boxes (a few curves) for cottages, and swirls and partial-swirls blue, lavender, green for landscape. I can't figure exactly our right of middle blue swirl that divides the picture; layers of mountain, sky, water, and sky again, but I sure do like/and enjoy the whole. Thank you again, Gary.
