I was thrilled to discover your website and find that you were offering multiple products with the image of the Filben Maestro as my grandfather, William Filben, was the inventor. I will be framing this photo for my home and anticipate ordering many other items in the near future for my large extended family

When I saw this photo of my hero, I had to obtain it because as you can see in the photo, I have Babe Ruth when he was young & strong initially with the Yankees. I want to truly thank the artist for his photo!

Terrific concert photo of Madonna back in the '80s. I hope the owner of this series featured in Life Magazine will make more available. They are stunning.

Artist's Description

When my mother took up painting years ago, my step-father prepared Masonite boards with fitted frames for her. Turns out that he was more committed to making painting surfaces than she was to filling them. I am now using some of his work to make little panoramas from triptych sketches I did some time ago. This one is of 280 in the distance with the bay and Fremont beyond.

About Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman's art career had a long gestation period, its academic inception going back to grade school where his preoccupation with drawing contributed to his earning a second try at first grade. He would not feel comfortable calling himself an artist until many years later, after his retirement from thirty years of teaching high school English and history. Gary minored in art and majored in English at San Jose State University, with the intention of becoming a suffering writer. Upon earning his BA, he entered a field with, he would soon discover, far more potential for suffering. He started teaching. He admits that his first year was a disaster. Following that year, he delivered milk to the homes of his students' families and their...
