Very Good!

I love your pervasive landscape style: so often the smooth and rounded hills, often in layers or even interwoven such as those here -- like cards being shuffled! And the scattered blue and/or green here, moving from the dark bottom up to the light and blank sky above as if a sandwich of two-toned hills, dull yellow merging to orange shadows, is nicely punctuated by the scattered blue or green oversimplified trees and bushes, and the darker-than-the-sky blue of the shadows in, evidently little zig zag gullies, or along a zig zag creek, and the shadows of trees! These lanscapes you do are all to pleasant, restful to the eye, yet gently moving their concentration along, back-and-forth.

Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

About Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman

Gary Coleman's art career had a long gestation period, its academic inception going back to grade school where his preoccupation with drawing contributed to his earning a second try at first grade. He would not feel comfortable calling himself an artist until many years later, after his retirement from thirty years of teaching high school English and history. Gary minored in art and majored in English at San Jose State University, with the intention of becoming a suffering writer. Upon earning his BA, he entered a field with, he would soon discover, far more potential for suffering. He started teaching. He admits that his first year was a disaster. Following that year, he delivered milk to the homes of his students' families and their...
