I was ready to continue a landscape painting. I was set up for doing so on the deck outside of my studio..... and then these clouds invaded my sky. There was no choice; I had to paint them, and paint fast.

Gary Coleman's art career had a long gestation period, its academic inception going back to grade school where his preoccupation with drawing contributed to his earning a second try at first grade.
